"The Spanish Baroque" connects the vast array of musical influences found in Spanish music from the time of the medieval Moors to the mid-18th century. Selections include ancient troubadour songs that can still be heard in Spanish homes today. Come experience secular songs of royal court intrigue, scandalous dances and romantic poetry composed by Spanish masters Antonio Martín y Coll, Gaspar Sanz and José Marin performed on period instruments.
